East Actors are a community based theatre group and are persistently using drama to reach new audiences and aspiring performers and practitioners.
THEATRE AND EDUCATION PROJECT
A meeting of minds both young and old. Our festive pantomime was a great success,encouraging young actors from Flash Musicals Youth Theatre to take to the stage! We also ran a short School Tour of the production to local schools in the area, complete with a drama workshop focussing on the pantomime genre!
NEW DIRECTION PROJECT
A fantastic production of 'Two' by Jim Cartwright, directed by a member of East Actors. This production was a debut directed project, with one of our actors, Daniel Robert Leigh presenting an engaging and comical interpretation. Soon to feature in 2008, an evening of new pieces presented by new directors!
