A selection of our past productions:
A Write Laugh, Showcase of New Comedy Writing, March 2006. What the press said: WINNERS of a Harrow comedy-writing competition saw their sketches and gags brought to life by a group of Edgware actors. Thirteen members of Harrow Writers' Workshop watched the East Actors Company perform their material. THE HARROW TIMES WROTE: "A Write Laugh, lived up to its billing and the diverse show had a packed audience rolling in the aisles!" WRITER SONYA WEISS SAID: "It was great seeing my characters being brought to life and to be part of such a fantastic show!"
All Our Yesterdays, War-time nostalgic show (charity/Community), November 2005 What the press said: thanks to the wonders of young, modern theatre groups, the music of the Vera Lynn, old timers Flanagan and Allen and the catchy tunes of Glenn Miller can be brought to life a second time. Edgware-based EastActors Theatre Company dazzled audience members during a recent show at the RAF Museum in Hendon with their talents. All Our Yesterdays is a variety gala which included a repertoire of golden oldies, songs from the musicals and a Pearly Kings and Queens singalong. And not only did they sound the part, they looked the part too, complete with authentic soldier's uniforms and feminine Forties fashion for the girls! You never think that your parents, or even grandparents would have tripped the 'light fantastic' to the latest dance hits in their youth, but how wrong you are!

'Road', Jim Cartwright. July 2005. What the press said: "When members of Edgware's renowned Flash Musicals were all grown up, they needed something else to provide an outlet for their creative talents. And so East Actors was born last April et up by actors Danielle Bates, Remo Gimmi and Laura McDonald. The group, made up of all ages, stages gritty dramas and more lightweight plays" This production of Road was directed by Nikin Patel.
